interAction looks to reduce it’s carbon footprint with new digs

October 27, 2014

Well after 2 years of planning interAction has finally moved into it’s own purpose built premises. Located at the end of the M1 expressway at Beresfield, not only has it improved our location but with fibre and a connection to the NBN our IT capabilities have grown ten fold.

Our brief to our builder wasn’t to design a standard tilt slab commercial building but a building that was unique (check out the bright colours!) and environmentally considerate. So we fitted opening windows to the offices for natural air flow, LED lighting throughout the building to reduce energy consumption and we are looking at installing solar panels to run using as much renewable energy as possible. Warwick even had a power point installed in the car park for the charging of electric cars. We have gone from our old building where the air conditioning ran 12 hours a day and lights that were on for the same amount of time, to the new building where most days we don’t need to turn lights or air conditioning on all day.

And with the new building has come new clients with 5 implementations in the last month or so. Busy times for the IT department!

We are proud of our new premises at 6 Elwell Close, so feel free to drop in for a coffee and say hi!
